Migraine/Headache Relief Protocol
As soon as you notice the aura or feel a headache coming on eat something, anything, with ginger in it and start smelling of Peppermint Essential Oil. (A lot of times this alone will take care of it.)(The sooner you start these remedies the better they work!)
Eat ginger or take ginger capsules.
Add 1 teaspoon of Himalayan Pink Crystal salt to the juice of fresh lemon and drink.
Avoid bright lights, loud sounds, and looking at anything patterned.
Wait a few minutes for tummy to settle and then:
Take 1 gram of Magnesium with at least 8 ounces distilled water.
Wait another few minutes for tummy to settle then take:
1 teaspoon ground Turmeric, you can mix it with a little milk or cream to swallow it or you can buy turmeric capsules.
Place ice pack on the site where the pain is worse.
If pain is persistent after these remedies, apply headache salve to temples, base of skull, and pain spots.
Place feet in hot water.
(I’m not recommending this, but if the pain is still persistent, I put peppermint essential oil, neat, right on the spot where it hurts the most.)
* if at any time during this PROTOCOL you begin to feel nauseated, take a tablespoon of LGH (lemon, ginger, honey) syrup.
I was told last week that the herb Feverfew is also beneficial.
